Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara believes it is only “a matter of time” as the club aims to compete for the Ghana Premier League title.

Ouattara is confident that the Phobians who lie fifth with 28 points on the log can close the gap on the 'temporary' top-four teams who might fly downwards in the coming days.

Speaking to the press after their 1-0 win over bottom placed' Legon Cities, he said that the club needed stability and time to prosper again, as they are the key to the club’s potential recovery.

“Some people say we have the weakest team, but we [continue] to play. Every match is a challenge for Hearts of Oak,” Ouattara stated.

“For now, we need to target maximum points from every game. We don’t want to see what we saw last season when we were struggling because we didn’t have the points.”

Hearts of Oak will next face FC Samartex in Samreboi in a matchday 17 fixture, as they will be out to frustrate their hosts and move ahead on the standings.
