Assistant coach of struggling Aduana Stars, W.O Tandoh has pleaded for patience amid growing pressure on the coaching staff following an abysmal start in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Ogya Boys have not won in any of their three Ghana Premier League games and that has diminished their hopes of having a good start.
After drawing 1-1 against Heart of Lions, and recording a goalless draw at Bechem United and the 2-0 thumping by Nations FC, the Bono giants have drifted downwards to the 12th position with 2 points.
That has seen calls for head coach Yaw Acheampong and W.O Tandoh sacking growing from angry Ogya fans.
However, the Ogya deputy tactician has asked for more time while ensuring they will flip-bounce Young Apostle on Sunday' in their Matchday four game.
“It’s unfortunate we lost against Nations FC on home turf. I will plead on behalf of the technical team for this defeat. We made little mistakes and that cost us,” Tandoh told Aduana's media.
“Our players were too anxious. We will put the defeat behind us and re-organize ourselves for our game against Young Apostles."
