Former Accra Lions winger Daniel Kwame Awuni has sealed a permanent move to Aduana FC after successfully completing his medical examination.
The 19-year-old attacker makes a return to the Ghana Premier League following overseas stints with Norwegian side Sarpsborg and Serbian outfit Čukarički, experiences that are expected to add maturity and depth to Aduana’s squad. An official announcement from the Dormaa-based club is anticipated in the coming days.
Awuni’s signing comes at a critical point in Aduana’s campaign as they step up their pursuit of the league title. The former champions are currently just two points off the summit and are keen to bolster their attacking department as the season moves into its decisive stretch.
Renowned for his pace, direct running and ability to stretch defences, Awuni is expected to offer valuable width and competition in wide areas. Aduana will be hoping the youngster settles quickly and delivers immediate impact as they aim to sustain their title push and remain firmly in the championship race.
