Ghanaian midfielder Baba Hamadu Musa has completed a move to Albanian top-flight side FK Skënderbeu Korçë on a free transfer, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old joins the Kategoria Superiore outfit following his departure from Ghana Premier League club FC Samartex 1996 at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Musa, a dynamic box-to-box midfielder, has signed a multi-year contract with Skënderbeu as they aim to bolster their midfield options ahead of the new season.
Musa, a rising Ghanaian talent has been on the radar of several European, East African and Middle East clubs after impressive showings in recent seasons, having helped Samartex win the league two seasons ago.
FK Skënderbeu, based in the southeastern city of Korçë, are one of Albania’s most successful clubs in recent years, having won multiple league titles and competed in European competitions.
Musa becomes the latest African player to join the Albanian league, a pathway increasingly favoured by young African talents seeking a foothold in Europe.
