Board member of Hearts of Oak have debunked claims that they did not do legitimate recruitment, based on the current performance of the team.
Hearts of Oak were disastrously tortured 5-1 by Medeama in match-week 31 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
However, after the defeat football fans unwrap their teeths to heavily chastise the team, saying the Phobians lack quality to compete for laurels.
Akambi clarified that with the current crop of players they have in the team, every Hearts player can weave-into the starting role of any team in Ghana.
“Every player at Hearts of Oak will be a starter in any team in Ghana so no one can blame us that we had a bad recruitment,” Alhaji Akambi echoed on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
