Ernest Thompson Quartey, ex-coach of AshantiGold SC has washed down talks that the Ghana Premier League title is set to be won by leaders Aduana Stars.

According to the former Ebusua Dwarfs gaffer, although Aduana are sitting top of the league log, they could bungle for a different team to overtake them and win the league title.

“I can say without a doubt that the league is still open. Looking at the point gap between league leaders Aduana and second-placed Medeama, Hearts of Oak, and the next team. A slip-up by any team could change the outcome," he told Max FM.

“Yes Aduana are leading but it is not a done deal for them,” coach Thompson added.

The Ghana Premier League will enter into Week 27 this weekend, with leaders Aduana Stars necking-down with Asante Kotoko at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium.
