Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are reportedly closing in on the signing of Prince Badu from domestic rivals Nations FC, according to exclusive sources.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has been in fine form this season, making 13 league appearances and scoring a late winner in Nations FC’s 2-1 triumph over Heart of Lions three weeks ago. Nations FC currently sit 12th in the league with 19 points, while Kotoko lead the standings with 30 points from 16 games.
With just one match remaining in the first round of the 2025/26 season, Kotoko are eager to strengthen their midfield and maintain their slender lead at the top of the table. The potential deal would not only enhance Kotoko’s squad depth but also weaken a direct competitor in the title race.
