Ghana Premier League side Vision FC have confirmed the departure of winger Dickson Afoakwa, ending his short stint at the club less than one full season after joining at the start of the 2025/26 campaign.

The club did not disclose the reasons behind Afoakwa’s early exit, but his departure comes as Vision FC look to regroup and strengthen ahead of the second half of the season.

Currently 15th in the league table with 14 points from 16 matches, Vision FC face the challenge of improving their standing and shoring up their squad for the remainder of the campaign. The club has yet to announce a replacement for the winger.

The ongoing transfer window offers Vision FC the opportunity to reinforce their attacking options, with hopes of climbing the league table and mounting a stronger challenge in the second round of fixtures.
