Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum says he is satisfied with the performance of his charges after a scoreless draw with Heart of Lions in the 2023/24 season's opener on Sunday evening.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Premier League returnees Heart of Lions in the match-week one of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Despite the draw, Narteh Ogum expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and said he is optimistic of an improved output in the subsequent matches.
“Yeah, I’m okay with it. I’m satisfied because we have a blend of new and old players trying to get the game model going. So, to me what I saw today is good of individual player,” Narteh Ogum told reporters after the game
“But then we can do better. It’s good, better, best. So, what I saw was good. I’m okay with it.”
Asante Kotoko will make a trip to Western North Region to battle it out with Bibiani Goldstars FC in the match-week two of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League at the Dun's Park on Saturday.
