Asante Kotoko have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of towering defender Michael Sefah from second-tier side Port City FC.
The two clubs finalized the transfer on Wednesday, January 22, following successful negotiations.
Port City confirmed the move via their social media platforms, stating that Sefah has been granted permission to undergo the necessary formalities to officially join the Porcupine Warriors.
Sefah becomes Kotoko's sixth signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Sampson Eduku, Kwame Opoku, Kwasi Asante, Daniel Adrian Adjetey, and Isaac Mintah, as the club continues to strengthen its roster for the ongoing campaign.
