Asante Kotoko is looking to strengthen their goalkeeping department by targeting Great Olympics’ experienced goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare.

Talks are currently underway between the two clubs as they discuss a potential transfer deal.

The move comes as Kotoko prepares for the departure of their current goalkeepers, Danlad Ibrahim and Moise Pouaty.

Asare, who has been a standout performer for Great Olympics, has caught the eye of Kotoko with his impressive record of 16 clean sheets in 33 games, most in the just-ended season.

At age 31, Asare’s experience and consistency make him an attractive prospect for Kotoko as they aim to enhance their competitiveness in the goalkeeping department.

If the transfer goes through, Asare could provide a solid foundation for Kotoko’s goalkeeping department and contribute to the team’s success on the pitch.
