Asante Kotoko will be without Guinean forward Morifing Donzo for their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Dreams FC due to injury.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to face Dreams FC in a Matchday 30 fixture on Sunday, May 3, at the Tuba AstroTurf, but Donzo will play no part after picking up an injury during a recent trial game.

Interim head coach Hamza Obeng confirmed the development in a pre-match interview, revealing that the attacker is currently unfit for selection.

“Donzo is not fit. Last week we had a trial match and he got injured. Benjamin has just returned from injury, and we are hoping he regains full fitness to rejoin the team. Adabo and Baba are back as well, and we are working to get them fully ready,” Obeng told AKSC Media.

Despite Donzo’s absence, Kotoko have received a boost with several players returning to training, giving the technical team more attacking options ahead of the crucial fixture.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 PM as Kotoko aim to secure maximum points in their push for a strong finish to the season.
