Asante Kotoko will incur a GHS10,000 fee for each home match played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, according to Kessben.

Under the new arrangement, the club will retain all gate proceeds from their home games, with no revenue-sharing obligations.

This decision, effective immediately, ensures that Kotoko will keep the full amount from ticket sales, without having to share any revenue with stadium authorities.

This change aims to simplify financial arrangements and provide the club with a more predictable financial outlook for their home fixtures.

The move comes amid discussions regarding stadium fees and revenue-sharing models, particularly in light of the National Sports Authority (NSA) announcing a one-month closure of Baba Yara Stadium. This closure follows Ghana's recent 1-0 defeat to Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Kotoko has considered relocating their home fixtures to the Len Clay Sports Stadium due to the closure of Baba Yara. This adjustment will affect their scheduled home games for the early rounds of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupines are set to play Young Apostles at home in their upcoming Ghana Premier League matchweek three fixture.
