Asante Kotoko have expressed willingness to sell young-sensation Peter Acquah Amidu in the second transfer window of the ongoing season which opens soon as player is still reluctant to extend his dying contract.

The 19-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2023 and has been nothing but very impressive and consistent. He’s stepped up in lots of big games for the Reds and it’s hugely considered as one of the emerging prospects in Ghana by lots of pundits and bookmakers.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, management of Asante Kotoko have been pushing for him to extend but the player is still unwilling as he is reported to have received offers from abroad and is looking forward to exploring those opportunities.

However, Asante Kotoko have also arrived at a conclusion that, they wouldn’t want him to complete the season with them so he will be free to leave hence they are willing to negotiate with any club that will make an offer in the second window.

Already, the club has sold marksman Albert Amoah to Libyan giants Al Ahly Bengazhi and won’t hesitate to do same with the Black Satellites attacker should a bid arrives.

Peter Acquah Amidu has two goals in eight league games this season for Kotoko and will once again be in line for a starting berth when they travel to Samreboi to play FC Samartex this weekend.
