Bechem United defender Baba Moro says his side are approaching Saturday’s trip to Medeama with a renewed sense of conviction.

According to Moro, the Hunters must take responsibility as they aim for back-to-back victories in the Ghana Premier League.

Moro, who operates as a centre-back and is expected to anchor the defence in Tarkwa on 22 November, believes last weekend’s win over FC Samartex has injected fresh fire into the squad as they prepare for a stern Matchweek 11 test against the Yellow and Mauves.

Speaking ahead of the match, Moro underlined the lift the team has taken from their recent performance.

“The win from our last match has motivated us a lot,” he told Bechem United TV.

“We need to work hard to win our upcoming games. It’s our job to work hard and fight for the fans. We must take responsibility and make sure we win the next game at all costs.”

Bechem’s season has lacked consistency so far, but Moro insists his team’s determination is firming at the right time as they head into one of the league’s more demanding away fixtures.

Kick-off for the match at the TnA Stadium is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, where both sides will be trying to make a strong statement.
