Bechem United head coach, Kwaku Danso, is optimistic about his side's chances of securing their first win of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season as they prepare to face Hearts of Oak this weekend.

After drawing their first two matches of the campaign, Danso is eager to convert those performances into a victory when the Hunters take on the Phobians in Accra. Bechem United, determined to bag their first three points, will go into the Week 3 fixture with renewed focus.

In a pre-match interview with the club's media team, Coach Danso revealed that his squad has been working hard in training, particularly on improving their finishing, which has been a stumbling block in their opening games.

“The performances haven't been bad, but our main issue has been goal-scoring. This week, we've been concentrating on that, and I’m confident we’ll see an improvement in our next match. The players have shown great progress in training, and I believe they are ready to step up,” Danso stated.

Following consecutive draws against Aduana Stars and Nations FC, the coach is hopeful that his team’s preparation will pay off, aiming to make a statement with a victory over the Accra-based giants.

The highly anticipated clash between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United is scheduled for Sunday, September 22, with kickoff at 6 PM at the Legon Sports Stadium.
