Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has urged all stakeholders of the club to come together as they work to overcome a challenging start to their Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Ivorian coach has come under pressure following back-to-back defeats, with some fans calling for his dismissal.

The Phobians suffered a 1-0 loss to Berekum Holy Stars in their season opener and followed it up with another 1-0 defeat away to Heart of Lions on matchday two.

In the face of these early setbacks, Ouattara emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity to help the team bounce back.

“When we are divided, it’s not beneficial for us. We try to encourage the players and bring them together,” Ouattara said during his pre-match press conference.

He also expressed confidence in the team’s talent and stressed the need for support as they prepare for their upcoming clash against Bechem United.

“We believe in their talent to get the job done. We are aiming for a good result on Sunday against another strong team. We think Bechem United is a good side."

Hearts of Oak currently sit at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table and will be looking to secure their first points of the season when they face Bechem United at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium this Sunday.
