Bechem United have bolstered their squad with the signing of seasoned defender Emmanuel Ampiah ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The former Enyimba FC and Rivers United full-back has penned a two-year contract with the Hunters, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to a relatively youthful squad.

Confirming the move, the club wrote:
"We are thrilled to welcome Emmanuel Ampiah, the experienced left-back, to the Hunters’ family! Ampiah has signed a two-year deal with us and is ready to bring his grit, stability, and top-flight experience to the backline in the upcoming seasons."

Ampiah becomes Bechem’s sixth signing of the transfer window, joining Abdul Basit Mohammed, Frank Promise, Dennis Votere, Aminu Mohammed, and Frank Amankwah as part of the club’s new reinforcements.

The 2016 FA Cup winners are preparing for the campaign under new head coach Stephen Desmond Issah Botchway, who is tasked with guiding the side to a competitive season.

Bechem United will kick off their league campaign with a tough opening fixture against reigning champions Bibiani GoldStars.
