Bechem United have signed teenager Abdulai Baba Moro from Hearts of Oak's youth side, Auroras.

The robust guardsman was a highly-rated prospect in the Auroras system, and the Phobians made it clear that he was part of their plans - having graduated from the youth team.

However, Hearts of Oak were unable to convince him to stay, as he had not been assured a place in their first team.

After considering their offer, the centre-back decided to change clubs and has now been snapped up by Bechem United.

The Hunters, who are lurking on the 9th spot on the Ghana Premier League table, are eager to hang-on-to their winning streak after securing the first win of the season against Dreams FC.

Despite Hearts of Oak's reputation for providing one of the best pathways to first-team football for youngsters, they could not persuade Moro to stay as he is now competing with others for starting spots at Bechem United in the ongoing campaign.
