Asante Kotoko SC captain Frederick Asare has expressed confidence that the team will capitalize on the positives from their recent draw against Berekum Chelsea to secure a win against Nsoatreman Football Club in their upcoming midweek clash.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to face Nsoatreman FC on Wednesday, October 2, in a match that serves as an outstanding fixture in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
In a pre-match interview, goalkeeper Frederick Asare emphasized the team's focus on victory, stating, “Going into this match, we are very focused on winning and from our last game on Sunday, I think there were a lot of positives which we took going into this match, we are going to implement them and at all cost, we are going to win.”
The match will kick off at 3 PM at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi. Both teams are eager to secure all three points to enhance their standings in the Ghana Premier League.
A win for Asante Kotoko would elevate them into the top four, while victory for Nsoatreman FC would help them distance themselves from the relegation zone.
