Benjamin Asare has reportedly passed his medical in Accra ahead of his move from Great Olympics.

The goalkeeper is set to join up with Aboubakar Ouattara’s squad and is expected to take over the club’s number one spot.

The club have been working hard to agree a deal with Great Olympics in the past week for Asare and now they're finally closing in.

Sources indicate that Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics have reached an agreement for the goalkeeper's transfer.

Asare is scheduled to meet with Hearts of Oak’s Managing Director later today to finalize the deal and sign his contract after passing his medical on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old custodian is expected to pen a two-year deal with the Phobians.

The Phobians are hoping to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign following a disastrous campaign which nearly saw the team relegated.
