Berekum Chelsea gaffer, Christopher Ennin says his side's start to the season has been a sloppy one and will have to figure out something to get things back on track as quick as possible.

He made these declarations after their narrow 1-0 loss to Aduana Stars last Friday in Dormaa in the opening fixture of GPL match-day four.

The game was really a sumptuous one with both teams exhibiting some impressive display until Isaac Mintah's solo strike in the first half made the difference.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the enterprising tactician says their preseason was really a good one but haven't been able to keep that momentum since the season started but is very hopeful they will pick up their pieces subsequently. He told StarTimes;

"I think there is a lot of things I need to work because after coming back from that lose in Tamale, it seems we are still struggling. So, I think I need to go back and work a lot with them so that we can bounce back."

"The energy we brought from the pre-season to the tournament in Samartex, it seems it is dropping so it's something that I have to monitor carefully and see. If it's something, definitely it's going to correct as soon as possible and before Sunday things will be fine."

Berekum Chelsea have just a win, a draw and two defeats from their opening four matches as they currently sit 9th in the log with 4 points.

The Bibires will host newbies Nations FC in the next round of matches at the Golden City Park on October 15, 2023.
