Bibiani Gold Stars coach, Stephen Frimpong Manso has blamed fatigue for his side's 2-0 defeat to Accra Lions in matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Miners were placed on the slashing table as Lions massrecred them at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
According to Frimpong Manso, his lads went into the game with a great chunk of exhaustion after playing multiple games in just a few days.
“It was a very difficult game. What we needed to do today was to prevent them from attacking from the back. We needed to press them and it was difficult. Travelling to Accra and playing two games in a week was very difficult and we were not in a good physical position to deal with them,” the coach said in a post-match interview after the 2-0 loss.
Coach Frimpong Manso has, however, assured fans of the Miners that the team will rebound in their next match against Aduana Stars on Sunday, April 21.
