Ibrahim Tanko, the Head coach of Accra Lions, on Monday said his team will improve on their goal scoring abilities.
Tanko, while speaking during his post-match interview after their match with visiting Bibiani Gold Stars, said it was worrisome that they created a lot of chances and squandered most of them in front of goal.
The former player was in the dugout when Accra Lions beat the Gold Stars 2-0 in their match-day 26 fixture of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Tanko noted that the team’s technical crew would give adequate attention to the goal scoring abilities of their players.
“It’s very good for us to bag the three points, looking at where we have climbed on the table. I think the boys did very well. I mean we created a lot of chances and winning 2-0 against Bibiani is a very good result for us.
“To score two goals against a tough side like Bibiani Gold Stars is not an easy job. Definitely, we are going to keep working to improve our scoring,” Coach Tanko told StarTimes.
In their next fixture, Accra Lions will travel to Nalerigu to take on Karela United in match-week 27 encounter.
