Bibiani Gold Stars have announced the acquisition of Philip Ofori from Nsoatreman FC as their first signing ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Miners snapped up the Bibiani-born defender on a reported two-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional two years.

Ofori's impressive performance at Nsoatreman FC last season didn’t go unnoticed, as he played 25 games and accumulated over 2210 minutes, earning him good remarks.

However, the Miners have been keeping tabs on the talented 22-year-old guardsman even before Nsoatreman scooped the Ghana FA Cup trophy, where he played a key role in his team's title triumph.

“Philip Ofori becomes our first signing for the season! Welcome home our own,” the club announced on their official social media handles on Friday evening.
