Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, has admitted that things didn't go well for the club last season.

The Phobians slumped to their worst ever finish in the Ghanaian top-flight despite beating Bechem United 3-2 on the final day of the campaign - their worst record - grinding 11 wins, 12 draws and losing a total of 11 games.

Addo was damning of his side's performance at the recently-concluded Ghana Premier League, telling Peace FM: "Last season did not go well, we all agree and admit that it did not go well."

He went ahead to state that it will be important for the Phobians to try and keep pace in the 2024/25 season, and do away with the below-par performance which has them slipping behind.

"Management will put in place measures, or the board will decide on the direction we want to go. We will need the support of everybody."
