Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has urged the club's teeming fans to get ready to see a new Phobian side in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Under the tactical brilliance of the Ivorian emissary, Hearts of Oak won the 2024 Homowo Cup, defeating Heart of Lions on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, after the game he communicated his happiness in their victory and indicated that his reconditioned team will fully be ready to compete in the imminent Ghanaian top tier league which starts on September 6, 2024.
“I'm proud because of the fans of this big family, the Hearts of Oak family. I'm proud because last season all these people suffered and after I think this trophy is just the beginning of the league.
“Maybe you can see the new look Hearts of Oak in the league soon.”
Hearts of Oak are having a busy summer in the transfer market, aiming to be one of the strongest teams ever assembled when the season takes off.
