After guiding FC Samartex to finish to 10th position with 46 points in their maiden Ghana Premier League campaign, the former Black Galaxies gaffer has shockingly opted to abandon a year left on his contract.

Head Coach of FC Samartex 1996, Annor Walker has reportedly packed his belongings from Samreboi amidst an imminent exit from the club.

Walker, who has been heavily linked with Hearts of Oak coaching job, has packed all his belongings from his apartment at Samreboi.

According to Kickgh.com source, the experienced gaffer sent his son to pack his belongings without the foreknowledge of any of the officials of the Premier League club.

FC Samartex 1996 secured the services of Annor Walker prior to the start of the 2022/23 season started after a squabble with Accra Great Olympics over his signature.

Despite having one year remaining on his contract with Samartex, Walker has been engaged in talks with Hearts of Oak, enticed by the club's prestigious reputation as one of the country's biggest teams.

His aim is to lead the team in the upcoming season and revitalize their performance following a disappointing previous season, in which they narrowly avoided relegation on the final day.

Walker brings a wealth of experience to the table, having managed several Ghanaian clubs, including Berekum Chelsea. He also had the opportunity to coach the Black Galaxies during this year's African Nations Championship.

His expertise and impressive track record make him an extremely valuable candidate for the coaching role at Hearts of Oak.
