Ibrahim, however, stressed that though there were changes in coaches, it is not the major factor they ended the season on the 12th spot with 46 points.
“In football, both coaches and players can leave clubs, so it’s normal. It doesn’t mean that is what affected our performance. Things just didn’t work out for the whole team. We didn’t get a good start,” Ibrahim told Kessben Sports.
Hearts of Oak has been without a substantive coach since the sacking of Serbian gaffer Slavko Matic in March this year. David Ocloo took charge as interim coach and oversaw their remaining Ghana Premier League games.
