Tamale City have secured a qualification to the next season's Ghana Premier League after a draw with Ebusua Dwarfs in the play-off tourney at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Tamale-based second-tier outfit have automatically replaced AshantiGold SC who got demoted by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for match fixing.
Tamale United sealed their qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight after emerging winners of the three-way playoff which featured Liberty Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Tamale City defeated Liberty Professionals 3-1 in their first game and wrapped up with a pulsating 1-1 stalemate with Ebusua Dwarfs to book their Premiership ticket with four points.
Tamale City's bid for Premier League promotion from the Division One League zone one was shattered by Nsoatreman FC in a play-off at the Accra Sports Stadium in July.
The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season will commence on 9th September, 2022.
