Bibiani Goldstars head coach, Michael Osei believes it's very unfortunate they were unable to snatch all three points but has given credit to Bibiani Goldstars for giving his lads a very good test.

The Miners failed to pick up a win at home for the first time this season after playing out a 2-2 stalemate with Kpando Heart of Lions at the Dun's in the last fixture of match-day six at the Dun's Park.

Alex Aso opened the scoring account for the host on the stroke of half time. Appiah McCarthy doubled the lead on the 54th minute. Mustapha Yakubu just a minute on pulled one back for the visitors before captain Ebenezer Abban scored subsequently to split the points.

Reacting to the draw, Michael Osei admitted their opponents gave them a very difficult game but believes they should have carried the day having taken a two-goal lead.

"It was a very difficult game. I will credit our opponent because they were tactically disciplined. It was a game that we wanted to win at all cost, we got first two goals but defensively and tactically, we couldn’t defend well and then, they were able to equalize."

"It’s very unfortunate but we will go back to the drawing and ensure we better our performance in subsequent games” he said after the game.

Bibiani Goldstars are currently on the eighth position with eight points and will host giants Hearts of Oak on Saturday, October 28, in the next round of matches.
