After a shaky start to the ongoing new season, Karela United seemingly are getting back on track having gone without a defeat in their last two league fixtures.
The recent one was a pulsating 1-1 draw with giants Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday night in match-day 3 of the Ghana Premier League.
The visitors opened the scoring account in the early stages through Evans Adomako but conceded at the death to share the spoils and a win in Kumasi could have been really crucial to their season.
Speaking on StarTimes, head coach Ibrahim Shaibu Tanko looks satisfied with the outcome and added their attention is now on Great Olympics whom they hope to beat in the next round of matches.
"You know they are like dying horses. If you are dying, your kicks are heavy. So, they had to go that way in order to redeem their image.”
"We will finish them. There is no way Olympics will survive. We will finish them."
Karela United have a win, a draw and a loss each from their opening three games and are currently occupying the 6th spot on the log with 4 points.
