Asante Kotoko gaffer, Prosper Narteh Ogum has stated he wasn't impressed with the kind of performance his lads exhibited against Karela United and believes they should have done better.

The Porcupine Warriors were held once again to a 1-1 draw on home soil by Karela United in match-day 3 of the Ghana Premier League.

Their former conjurer Evans Adomako opened the scoring account for the visitors in just eight minutes from kickoff.

However, substitute Baba Yahaya came off the bench to grab the equalizer in the dying embers of the game to salvage a point for the 'Kum Apem' lads.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the 45-year-old tactician loved how they played but isn't really satisfied having failed to make the chances they created count.

"If you look at the chances we missed and the way we played right from the blast of the whistle to the end, especially in the second half."

“The chances we created, we missed, that wasn’t the result I was expecting."

Asante Kotoko after three matches are currently sitting on the 17th position with just two points and are most likely to drop to the foot depending on the outcome of remaining matches.

They will travel to the capital to face Accra Lions FC in match-day 4 on the evening of Monday, October 9, 2023.
