Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Ogum says his squad are finding their best form after an impressive victory over Accerler8z FC on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated the lower side 2-0 in the MTN FA Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium.
According to Ogum, winning their next two home matches will significantly enhance his players confidence and serve as a defining moment in their pursuit to rekindle their league title aspirations.
“It should be a turning point for us in terms of our ambition to compete for the trophy.’ It should be a turning point for us. We are playing two games at home. We should make the very best out of this opportunity. Try and play well in terms of performance, try and make sure that the chances we create, we convey them. That's all.
“When we get the three points, these vital six points, I’m sure when we get them, it will inspire us a lot in terms of our approach at training and our approach in subsequent games so it’s a good opportunity and we need to grab it.”
Kotoko's next two home games will be against Vision FC on Sunday, January 19, before hosting Karela United on Friday, January 24.
