Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani says Eleven Wonders do not deserve to be in the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League.

Dramani was speaking after Hearts of Oak recorded a comfortable 3–0 win over Eleven Wonders on Saturday, a result that have moved the Phobians up to fourth place in the table.

Eleven Wonders, who were promoted this season, have found life difficult in the top flight. They have picked up just nine points from 20 matches and have lost 15 games so far.

Despite his side’s win, Dramani said the league position does not always reflect how a team is playing, and urged fans to be patient when results are not going well.

“Sometimes the position of a club does not reflect what they do,” Dramani said. “My experience in the game tells me to treat every match differently. When I watch their videos and analyse the game, I can see that they don’t deserve to be where they find themselves.”

He added that many factors affect performances beyond what fans see on matchday.

“Maybe there are a number of factors because so many things affect performances and results. It’s just not just seeing 11 players on the pitch and playing and then 9 players on the bench waiting to have their turn.” he said.

“So many things happen and so sometimes when you see results not coming it is good to be very sober in terms of being more humble to appreciate that they did what is very necessary.”

The win takes Hearts of Oak to fourth place on 35 points, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC and ten points ahead of Bechem United, who they will face on Sunday, January 1.

For Eleven Wonders, the loss makes their problems at the bottom of the table worse.
