Vision FC have confirmed that captain Nana Kusi Asante has completed a move to Kenyan top-flight side Police FC.

The 20-year-old midfielder has joined the Kenyan club on a one-year loan during the current transfer window. He is expected to play an important role for Police FC as the season continues.

Before leaving Vision FC, Asante made 17 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Announcing the deal, Vision FC said they were happy to support the player’s next step.

“We are delighted to announce that our skipper Nana Kusi Asante has joined Kenyan top-flight side Police FC on a year-long loan,” the club said.

“Asante, before making the switch, appeared 17 times across all competitions this season, scoring once and providing an assist. We wish Kusi the best of luck in the campaign ahead.”

Asante will now look to settle quickly in Kenya and make an immediate impact, with the hope that a strong loan spell could earn him a permanent move to Police FC.
