Dreams FC head coach, Abdul Karim Zito believes they gave Asante Kotoko too much respect on Saturday afternoon.

The Still believe lads were unable to rebound and build on their stalemate against Nsoatreman after managing a 1-1 draw in Nsoatre.

In the match-day 14 encounter at the Tuba Astro Turf on Saturday, the Still Believe lads succumbed to a 2-1 loss to the Porcupine Warriors.

The experienced tactical thinker felt the slow start was to blame for the side's undoing, despite Kotoko being a 'shaky tavern' coming into the clash.

“My players had respect to Kotoko. After first half, I talked to them and things changed. We had chances but I can’t just believe why my players couldn’t shoot” Zito stated after the game.

The Asante Kotoko defeat has plunged Dreams FC to 17th on the 18-team league log with just 12 points, while Asante Kotoko are 5th with 24 points.
