In an expected announcement which would not be made out of the blue‚ FC Samartex will appoint a new head coach‚ according to club chairman, Dr Richard Nsenkyire.
The Timber Giants - who are the defending champions of the Ghana Premier League will make the announcement on social media‚ coupled with a release of an official statement.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Nsenkyire bemoaned the need to appoint a substantive coach to come steer the affairs of the team as they aim to rebound from their current struggles.
Outgoing Nurudeen Amadu resigned from his role as head coach of the club last week, and his assistant Henry Wellington is continuing in that capacity until a substantive gaffer is appointed.
After 14 rounds of matches played so far in the Ghanaian top flight, Samartex lurks in 10th position with 17 points.
