General Manager of Nsoatreman, Eric Alagidede, jumped to the defence of 'calamitous' keeper Sabi Acquah Ferdinand for the mistakes that made Hearts of Oak to snatch a draw.
Nsoatreman keeper Ferdinand committed one howler as Amanaso blew a 1-0 lead in Accra to leave their hopes of beating the Phobians at their own backyard.
Ferdinand let in one soft goal through Salim Adams free kick, as Hearts of Oak fought back to deny Nsoatreman a famous win.
Asked who is to blame, Alagided said: “At least we came in with the strategy working for us. We had the game under control.
“Unfortunately, if you take a look at the free kick, there was nothing our goalkeeper could have done. The ball bounced and it would score any other goalkeeper."
After Saturday's stalemate, Hearts of Oak are now 6th with 19 points on the league table, while Nsoatreman have moved downwards to 11th with 13 points
Amanaso are yet to win in their last five matches, having managed three draws and two loses. They will next play against Dreams FC on December 13.
