Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has shifted his team's focus to their upcoming MTN FA Cup encounter against Immigration FC, setting aside discussions about the eagerly anticipated Ghana Premier League showdown with arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
Following Hearts' 1-1 draw with Nsoatreman FC in Matchweek 12 on Saturday, Ouattara outlined his priorities:
“Our next target is the next match. We are professionals, and every game is important. We have to respect Immigration FC and prepare well for that challenge,” the Ivorian tactician remarked.
The Phobians are keen on advancing in the prestigious domestic tournament, and Ouattara stressed the importance of approaching every fixture with the same intensity. “We are fully focused on the MTN FA Cup tie scheduled for next weekend. For now, that is our priority,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will look to use the match against Immigration FC as an opportunity to build momentum and maintain their competitive edge as they juggle commitments across multiple competitions this season.
With the cup fixture offering a platform to bolster team morale, the Phobians are determined to make a statement and keep their FA Cup aspirations alive before turning their attention to the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.
