Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has revealed that his side is determined to win every home game in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors began their campaign on September 13 with a narrow 1-0 away victory over Berekum Chelsea and now turn their attention to their first home fixture of the season against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Zito explained that he has instilled a winning mentality in his players, with the focus firmly set on securing maximum points at home.
“I have talked to my boys to forget about Africa for now and focus on this game. On the table, every home match should be a win. This is the mentality we are going to meet them with,” Zito told AKSC Media.
The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, with kickoff at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, where a large crowd is expected to rally behind the Kumasi giants.
