Interim Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has admitted that Sunday’s Ghana Premier League fixture against Dreams FC represents a significant challenge for his side.
Determined to avoid any stumbles in the pursuit of the 2024/25 title, the seasoned coach says he is ensuring his players are both mentally and physically ready for the encounter.
“Every team facing Kotoko will come fully prepared, so if we’re not on our toes, we’ll find ourselves on the wrong end of the result,” Zito told AKSC Media. “Every match for Kotoko is tough—there are no easy games. That’s why we take our preparations very seriously.”
The crucial Week 31 showdown kicks off at 15:00 GMT on Sunday, May 18, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
A victory for the Porcupine Warriors would keep their title bid firmly alive.
