Hohoe United have confirmed the signing of former Asante Kotoko and Karela United centre-back Maxwell Agyemang on a two-year deal as the newly promoted side step up preparations for their debut Ghana Premier League campaign.
The 29-year-old defender, who spent last season with Karela after leaving Kotoko, arrives with a chunk of top-flight experience and is expected to play a central role in stabilising Hohoe United’s backline.
Hohoe United, who secured promotion to the top flight earlier this year, have been active in the transfer market in a bid to avoid an immediate return to Division One.
