Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United have signed centre back Haruna Mohammed Alkassim from Alajo-based Division Two outfit Thunder AFC.
Alkassim, who featured for Tamale City last season, agreed a two-year contract as HUFC prepare for their maiden campaign in the top flight.
The 18-year-old’s arrival is part of a recruitment drive aimed at stabilising the team before the start of the 2024/25 GPL season.
Hohoe United secured promotion earlier this year and are building a squad capable of surviving their first Premier League campaign.
