Eric Bekoe, a former Ghanaian striker, has expressed his willingness to work with his former club, Hearts of Lions if given the opportunity.

Lions recently qualified from ZONE III to participate in the Ghana Premier League after a five-year absence.

Bekoe, who played for the club between 2006 and 2007 after joining them from Liberty Professionals, said he would be delighted to assist the club if asked.

Speaking to Radio Gold Sports, the 36-year-old former Asante Kotoko player said, “Hearts of Lions gave me my breakthrough platform so I’m so grateful to the club, Victor Ahiakpor and all those guys there, they’ve been wonderful,” Bekoe said.

“It will be a dream come true though, after playing as a player now a coach, I’m going to coach one club that I admire so much apart from Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

“It will be a blessing in disguise for that giant step.”

Bekoe is presently in charge of AC Avranche, a second-division club sponsored by former Kotoko winger, Ben Acheampong.
