Former Asante Kotoko winger, Dickson Afoakwa has popped up on the wishlist of Ghanaian champions Bibiani Gold Stars who are willing to secure his service ahead of the upcoming season

The pacy winger enjoyed what was a stellar season with lower-division side Rainmasters FC - where he joined prior to the start of the just ended season and really had a great time to rediscover his form

The 27-year-old was unplayable in the Access Bank Division One League with massive 14-goal involvements (10 goals and 4 assists) in 22 matches for the Greens in the just-finished season

Bibiani Gold Stars per reports are in advanced negotiations with Afoakwa and are really pushing harder for his signature as they believe his addition will be really malleable to their Africa campaign due to the experience and exposure he has.

Also, newly-promoted club Hohoe United have also expressed strong interest in signing the player and are ready to battle the champions for his signature

Dickson Afoakwa was an integral member of the Asante Kotoko squad that won the Ghana Premier League in the 2021/22 season. He’s previously had spells in Belarus, Slovenia and South Africa
