According to exclusive reports in the local media this morning, Asante Kotoko have contacted Bismark Kobby Mensah for their coaching role.
Although, current head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is still at post despite the team's recent abysmal performance, but Kickgh.com can reveal that, the club's interim Management Committee are currently on the lookout for his replacement following what happened at their training grounds last Tuesday.
The Porcupine Warriors at the moment, are without a win in their last seven matches, having lost six and drawn one- an appalling run which has seen most of the supporters calling for the dissolution of the technical team.
Bismark Kobby Mensah started the season with Bechem United where he joined prior to the start of the ongoing season and was at some point on a ten-game unbeaten run.
However, he got relieved off his duties early this year in what is described as poor performance and has been without a club since.
With Ogum's sacking looking seemingly possible in the next few weeks, speculations has it that, the ex- Black Galaxies deputy gaffer is the priority now and has been contacted already with negotiations currently ongoing between both parties.
Asante Kotoko are now sitting on the 11th spot with 33 points and will host league leaders Samartex FC in the next round of matches.
