Seven players of reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC have left the shores of the country to seal a move to a Maltese top-flight league side Sirens FC, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.

Medeama SC have reached an agreement with Sirens FC to loan out seven players including the club's captain Kwesi Donsu until the end of the 2023/24 season's campaign.

Donsu, who played a pivotal role in the clubs' first-ever Premier League triumph last season, is leading the list of players heading to Malta for a season-long loan spell. He is long-serving player of the Tarkwa based side after arriving from Berekum Arsenal in 2015.

The list comprises of combative defender Mukhtar Moro, Daniel Owusu and Ghana U20 attacking midfielder Frank Boateng, who played few matches for the club last season in the Ghana Premier League.

Highly-rated defensive midfielder Prosper Boakye is also heading to Sirens FC until the end of the season with hugely talented winger Hafiz Akodam and Charles Agyemang, who was promoted to the senior team from Rospak FC in 2022.

The seven players left the shores of Ghana via the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Monday evening to finalize their loan switches to Sirens FC in Malta.

Medeama SC have already beefed up their squad list for the 2023/24 season with the arrival of Richard Akrofi, Osah Tetteh Bernardinho, Godknows Dzakpasu, Benjamin Bature and Zimbabwean winger Kudakwashe Mahachi.

Medeama SC commenced their CAF Champions League campaign with a 1-0 win over Nigerian club Remo Stars last Sunday, in the first leg tie of the preliminary round at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
