Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare has voiced strong confidence ahead of their upcoming match against Nsoatreman Football Club, assuring fans that victory is well within reach.

The highly anticipated match, an outstanding fixture in the Ghana Premier League, is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

In a pre-match interview with the club's media, Asare emphasized the team's commitment to performing well, saying, "Ahead of this game against Nsoatreman, we know there is much expected from us. As it is said, 'to whom much is given, much is expected.' The fans are expecting a lot from us, and we are also expecting a lot from ourselves. So going into this match, it's a must-win game"

"We are very determined, very focused, and we have to do this for them because we are not playing at Baba Yara; we are playing in Obuasi. Our cherished supporters come from far and wide, some all the way from Takoradi, to watch us, and we can’t afford to disappoint them once again. So, we are assuring them of victory."

Nsoatreman FC enters this match with mixed results, having had a busy schedule with continental engagements.

They have played only two matches in the Ghana Premier League, securing a 2-0 victory over Young Apostles but suffering a 3-1 defeat to Accra Lions.
