Aduana Stars midfielder, Elvis Opoku, is reported to have sealed a move to Ghana Premier League newcomers Bofoakwa Tano FC ahead of the 2023/24 football season and official confirmation of this development is yet to be made.
The 30-year-old is one of the few experienced players in the league at the moment, having featured for the 'Ogya' lads for quiet a long time and was an integral member of their league winning side in 2017.
He left to join Legon Cities FC but returned to Aduana Stars early this year but struggled to make an impact and once again struggled to earn playing time in the second phase of the season.
Despite already starting preseason with the two-time champions, Elvis Opoku is reported to have said yes to a bumper offer presented to him by Bofoakwa Tano and has agreed a two year deal, with official announcement imminent.
The 'Esuo Eyiri Pe Bre' outfit have been out of the Premier League for over a decade and are hoping to establish a formidable side this time in order to become a mainstay once more in the topflight.
